John Christie has seen a lot of change and development in the painting industry. That’s not really surprising since he has been involved for over half a century.

John was a “hands-on” painter for decades and has also spent over 10 years running a major-brand retail paint outlet. Crucially, this retail experience gave John strong insights into customer needs. Particularly when considering colour schemes, paint systems and finish options.

Today John’s son, James, manages Prep and Paint Otago. James grew up with a paint brush in one hand and followed in his fathers footsteps, learning from the best.

The team has fully qualified trades people and represents many years of combined experience.
